但OG说

这句话如何理解？是 有指出功能的要点 的意思么？

是否可以这样理解:OG所说的Gall's point about those functions is: different mental functions are localized in different parts of the brain ,C通过同位语结构可以传达这个focus

而 hypothesis of different mental function的focus是mental function 不能传达这一点

hypothesis 是單數     different mental functions 是複數     are localized   用複數are  所以應該是修飾functions

 that引導的從句是修飾 "Gall's hypothesis of different mental functions" 這整個複合名詞，

基本上是以 Gall's hypothesis 中心詞的意思為主，(G對於XXXX的假設，整個是一個N.)

所以導致that從句內 "主動詞不一致" 且 "原句句意被改變，造成句意不合邏輯 (G的假設本身分布在腦部的不同位置?)"

所以，OG說B選項distorts meaning.

可以參考OG11-105 的正確選項：
