偶还是觉得选B。因为ever before时间状语决定只能是到现在为止了，以后它是不是the greatest team就不得而知了。

用现在完成时是错误的，前面的谓语动词was可以看出整个句子都应该用过去时态表示过去发生的事情，而不应该用现在完成时。这里即使改成to have comprised还是有问题，可以参见OG中的那道to bother 和to have bothered的题的解释。sorry,这道题不是OG中的，是大全157。可以参看以前的讨论。

偶觉得恰恰相反，因为这些都是你用来反驳B选项的理由，怎么说不影响答案呢？

目前为止偶还是选B，因为这题的A、B都没有逻辑主语搭配上的问题，只有时间状语与时态的搭配问题。

另关于comprise的用法，请参考LONGMAN上的解释：

我也查了词典中的讲解

comprise:

1.if u say that something comprises or is comprised of a number of things or people,u mean it has them as its parts or members.

2.The things or people that comprise something are the parts or members that form it.

women comprise 44% of hospital medical staff.

从此点来看是可以理解players comprised the greatest team.

但是这里以用现在完成时还是有问题，前面的was，说明是过去时间，后面又用到现在完成时have...现在时间，而且没有明显的时间暗示状语。

另外ever before并不一定要和现在完成时连用：

Japan is wealthier and more powerful than ever before.

这题跟og88比最大的差别就是多了个ever before。我认为ever before是修饰the greatest team。查了一下, ever before可以修饰名词，如：This Super Mario like Game is unlike anything ever before in a no-holds-barred adventure. 这种例子不多，更多的是名词+ever。

另外ever before放在句尾作状语比较少见，多见的是have/has ever done before,其次是have/has ever before done.

现倾向选A.，不过LES的提醒也是有道理的。不知晓驰的答案从何而来,可靠性如何？

偶终于明白了：ever before 本身是可以用一般时态的，但是加了than之后就不同了。偶以前一直没有搞清楚这两个概念。现在偶确定选A!

找到大全的例子说明这个问题，给自己一个明确的解释！
