我认为应该A对，they指代wasps很合理，where的修饰关系也很清楚（修饰society），意思是说在这个society里，wasps全是由女性组成的。

而B不对的原因是  （1）consisting修饰关系不清，可以修饰society也可以认为修饰wasps吧。（2）A的同位语强调的是wasps是生活在什么样的一个社会里，而B强调的是这些wasps组成的社会是女性的

不过也有点疑问，B中 consisting 如果修饰society的话这个同位语就有点不伦不类了
