我知道B很平行啊，我也知道C有很wordy的地方，但我依旧选了C，就是因为我觉得B选项里怎么可以explained by the fact 呢？！不应该是“人"做explained的动作发出者吗？！  实在不明白啊~~！！！！！！！！


求各路好心人点化一下愚钝纠结的我吧！！！！  好人有好报呀~~~~

1.这个题考点很明显就是平行结构，这个是大原则。在这个大原则下，c肯定要排除！
2.关于explained by the fact，explain在这里不是指一个具体的动作，不是指有一个人在那里有具体的explain的动作。就好比说“这个答案说明了什么什么”的“说明”一样，属于是偏向与思考性或者逻辑方面（暂且用这两个词形容）的动作。
3.如果大原则掌握了，acde直接排除，且c的“also”放置的位置实在太不靠谱了，完全破坏掉了整个句子的意思，“not just ，but ...”是要表达什么呢？

be explained by the fact 应该算是习惯用法吧，google一下就有很多橘子出现。这里就不复制列举了啊。

若是非要讨论这个问题，还是可以解决的，explain的发出者其实就是人。只是在这句话中，by the fact 表示的是通过什么的意思。所以若变成主动，该句可理解为 people explain the increase by the fact that...
