请问楼主，essay要求会不会很高，时间很赶，想拼一下，不知道有没有可能，还在写ESSAY，G不到700，toefl刚看了学校网站，应该可以waived.

I bet China once had similar good traditions, but nowadays ...

if you are in US, you will understand this is quite normal. If you hold a map, looking lost, on the pedestrian in NYC,I bet within 1 min someone will show up and point the direction for you. I had this experience every time. Difference in culture.
