In choices A and C, it intrudes between the halves of the compound verb has moved... and [now] draws to introduce a new grammatical subject, thereby creating a run-on sentence:

为什么没有逗号，就created a run-on sentence 呀？什么时候and 在链接两个句子时，前面要加逗号，什么时候不用加？

当连词连接的是两个独立的句子，比如有独立的主语(如此例)时，一般用逗号+连词结构；需要指出的是，独立句子用逗号不等于用逗号必定是独立句子，两者的差别不要混淆了。

一般情况下可以这么记，但是在复杂句中也有例外。如从句中套从句，就要注意为使整个结构层次清晰，“主＋谓＋宾and主＋谓＋宾”在一个上一级的从句中是对的。就像数学里的｛〔（）〕｝。

你的意思是：单独的主＋谓＋宾and主＋谓＋宾不可以，但如果是这一部分做为从复杂句子中的一部分（比如说从句的一部分）就可以不加逗号了呗？

而且还有就是and 连接两个并列成分，注不是两个句子，这时前面加不加逗号都可以吧？

我一直认为逗号加AND是句子间的并列，

只有AND连接句子中某部份的并列，

请指出我的简单理解对不对
