E是不是省略了do?即if calves exercise and associate with other calves, they require less medication and gain weight more quickly than do those raised in confinement.(倒装？)

这里的if条件句和主句都使用现在时是因为把这个条件和结果看作一般规律。句子的开头写道是“研究表明”，是一个例证。1楼说的没错。

是省略了do；if calves exercise and associate with other calves, they require less medication and gain weight more quickly than do those raised in confinement. 是倒装，因为those raised in confinement 这个词组比较长，可以把do提前。

这两天又一遍的翻到了这个题。这一次看og解释又有些新的体会

大家所讨论的“will”问题，og只是说C/D中的“will”使用不当，但并没有提及A中的will使用有什么错误。

可见，其实ETS也并没有明确表示出在本句中两种“if”用法的倾向。

因为，仅凭这句话来断定说话者的语气有些牵强

偶认为IF还是比较简单的，(1)只要知道这个是有效性错误就行。

(2)IF后的从句可以表将来，也可以表现实。按照这个句子，将来（这个事情将会发生）或者现实（这个事情本来就是定理，是一定会发生的）都可以，所以，does not matter罗。

A study => 暗示此為事實，以直述方式說明即可。

我覺得我們看og解釋應該是前後文一起看吧！

Both C and D incorrectly conclude with the future tense will gain.這一句的前一句是　C and D correctly use associate, but C follows with the past tense required and D with the present perfect have required.所以這裡不是說  if X happens, Y will happen. 不對～應該是因為CD兩選項裡一個用過去式 required, 一個用完成式　have required, 都跟後面的 will不平行呀～所以不對！

关于IF句子中时态我的理解是并没有一定的规律定理说是必须要用什么时态.

象这句话在IF连接的从句和主句中的用一般现在时这牵扯到一般现在时的用法:

如果是表示一个客观的真理或者某个认为的客观真理时当然要用一般现在时了.

用一般将来时是表示一种推测和时间上的顺序(现在VS将来),用过去时(WOULD)是表示一种假设,即虚拟语气.

我觉得OG11 review中39也就是OG10的46题的解释有晃点的嫌疑~~

这里应该是为了避免do的指代问题，才把do给省了的吧~~~

此题的DO 省略确实有问题,容易产生误解,容易让人将require less medician  and gain weight 与those raised in confinement 比较．产生逻辑上不对等

如下面例题 

19.In addition to having more protein -than wheat does, the protein in rice is higher quality than that in wheat, with more of the amino acids essential to the human diet.

(b)rice has protein of higher quality than that in

(e)rice has a protein higher in quality than

Choice E needs either that in or does after wheat to make a complete and logical comparison.

到底do 的省略是为了避免指待不清 ，还是说谓语一样的话本来就可以省阿？
