和一位prospective Professor陶瓷信，interaction整体感觉不错，老人家也让我12月初去找他想说proposal的事情。在两封邮件里我有讲到目前我在本系的一位教授指导下写paper，这位professor不断问我，what is your goal for that paper, in terms of PhD application? When are the deadlines for our program and other programs of 2012 fall you are applying for? 我应该怎么回答呀，如实地说我还申请了其他学校吗？教授这样问是为什么呢？到目前为止，我确实只是在这所目标学校这边下过很大功夫~
Tell him the paper is targeted at AOM then for a journal. It is not just for application...If this is your dream school, tell him you will only apply this program; but if it is not your dream school, just tell him your previous plan.
