请问whose到底怎么用呢

这个题选D。。我昨天做到这里也奇怪来的。。
解析说的是：定语从句可以避免介词短语的问题，类似of和that的那种类型题
 所以我觉得应该是可以指除了人以外其他的从属的关系吧。。望高手来解答。。
