LSE: MSc in Finance or Finance and PE

I still struggle with my essays. I think it is too normal. I want some creativity on structure.

well. I want PE more but more difficult.
All the universities I have applied are with big risk.  I don't want to have a 'backup' school. Cause I know clearly that I won't go there if I don't like it at all.
So I don't want waste opportunity for LSE. I quite like it..

If you really want to go to LSE and don't care about the programme,  you can choose A&F(similar programme, but less competitive than Finance) as backup or MSc Real Estate Finance(I'm sure you can get in if you don't screw your PS up).

Thx for answering. I wonder if I put AF as my second choice after Finance...whether they will care..

in A&F webpage they clearly state that people who indicate A&F as the first choice will have maximum chance to get it, so could you please tell me what if I put Finance as the first choice and A&F the second choice?

其实两个录取率都很低。Finance和PE录的人都没有那么多。只是入学有内部转专业转到finance 去了

AF不会因为你把它当二志愿就拒的呀... 我去年就是这样做的，我感觉它录的人还蛮多的呢。
如果是在不放心或者想求稳就一志愿AF（这个和Finance差不多招人又多，就不用去趟Finance那浑水了），二志愿real estate finance 以你的背景LSE应该是稳拿的
哦 对了头LSE可以申大于两个的，只要肯交申请费

hey i was exactly thinking that - putting finance as first choice and real estate as second choice, cause I dont have gmat so i reckon my chance for finance is pretty slim...but when I went to graduate evening there real estate people were pretty arrogant...so now Im worrying that I dont even get a chance in real estate dont know what I should do really.....

I think I will take your advise-putting AF as first choice. Because I want to secure a position in LSE.
Hope Cam will take me... I am a Cam Lover!!!! Within all the programs I will apply, Cam is my dream...
