答案是A，但despite后面的意思想表达的不是“尽管网上买票的人数在不断增加”，而A是“尽管这个增长的人数”。。。求教怎么理解啊？

因为despite后面就可以直接写xxxx,despite the fact that还多加了一个从句来写xxxx，就显得wordy，但语法上不能算错
