OG里有个解释是 It makes more sense to make the visitors the agents responsible for the action of both the verbs—touch and activate.

这个单词的动作发出者是人visitor。所以他说which找不到先行词。改成who就能找到了，但是非常不简洁

exhibit当然可以做先行词。就是在这里不搭配动词。
如果搭配上就有点像“游客去触摸展品，该展品因此自己启动自己”
