CD上最近怎么都火气大
他说的普遍是不对，但其实今年我知道CBS就新调整了对免TOEFL的规定，info session上再三强调了，必须是本科在全英语授课环境下接受教育的，才符合免T，研究生和工作都不算。其他学校调整了没有我不知道，lz必须每个学校网页上去看看确定。

This is the email I got from CBS adcom like 5 minutes ago, so, no offense, I'll just trash whatever you said up there:

Dear XXX,

Thank you for your interest in Columbia Business School. International students whose native language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic. You may be exempt from the TOEFL or PTE Academic if you have earned a degree from an institution in a country in which English is the primary official language and at which the official language of instruction is English.

If you have received a Master's Degree from a university in the U.S., then you are exempt from the TOEFL/PTE requirement.

Please contact us if you have any further questions.

You can try duke, because it loves applicants who have rich working background.
This year, duke has 4 girls from China. However, you study and work in US. I'm not sure that you are in the Chinese pool. Actually, you can do a lot of campus visit to choose your dream school. B-school study is a two-year huge expense. My suggest is just to visit the school you like?

2012北美MBA申请定位
想申请2012fall的MBA，争取在第二轮把材料送出去，请大家帮我参谋一下。
我的背景比较杂，个人基本参数：
GMAT-730
没有TOEFL (北美拿过master+工作三年多,是不是可以面TOEFL啊)
本科：国内top 2 学校（生物化学类专业），GPA -82/100 ，是院学生会主席(不知道年代久远的leadership有没有加分)
国内工作经验：3年政府单位，和金融无关的普通office工作
硕士：美国top 20学校（统计专业）,GPA - 3.9/4.0
美国工作经验：3年半小型consulting 公司做客户现金流监管，职位名称financial analyst 后来升到稍微senior的职位，手下带1个人
其他：CFA 过了一级
年龄：30+
推荐信：1.国内工作直属领导；2.美国工作直属领导+领导直属领导
现在想申请美国的mba，大家帮我看看我能申请到什么梯队的full-time MBA项目呢？top10是不是希望渺茫啊？那top 10-20捏？

其实我对学校外表的样子一点都不介意。关于那些他们内部文化的东西在现在有限的时间里面了解也比较有限。所以，我主要在考虑自己的背景，什么样的学校录取机会比较大，这样申请容易成功一点。毕竟年龄不小了，而且因为是女生，经不起折腾了。
