晕，D 肯定不对啊，
做题角度来说 D 首先排除 不是句子 ，明显后面需要完整句子

退一步说，同位语要找到对应的就可以，指代不清一般有同类干扰的那种才算
D如果勉强指代extremes也可以，但是后面的 从句修饰就不清了，they你说是指代effects? 还是extremes ?

这种考点题目考到就算万幸了，碰到考词组搭配就彻底傻了
