There are indeed courses for investment management, and we have an investment club. I believe you can find them on website. They will sync most of the resources for you when you arrive, but I will say, for investment management recruitment, it is abslotely not as structured as IB or consulting. With that being said, you need to network hard.  That's what I know up to now.

Hi Tuckies, I tried to search through Tuck MBA website but was unable to find what kind of companies going to the campus for recruitment. Is there any booklet to introduce such information? I am looking for investment/asset management companies.

Besides, I am interested in investment management career after MBA. Is there any special courses or resources for this area? Is Tuck strong in investment? Very much appreciated if you could share a bit more in this area.

楼主你好，想问一下在2013里面有工作在500强前10的但是做会计工作的申请成功的嘛？能否介绍一下她的大概情况呢

Tuck是我的尊敬的一所学校。我背景比较特殊，帮我看看是否match。

G：730  T：还没考
985，本科EE，GPA不到3，排名60/160，但是担任3年院学生会主席，若干大型活动
7年工作经验，全国第二大工业城市的质量管理监管政府机关中层干部，负责制造业企业质量管理监管，负责市长质量奖项目的运作
MBA方向：SCM/operation
职业方向：manufacturer
就业地点：US中西部

没工作经验就不要申请tuck了，今年最年轻的T13是24岁，2年工作经验。不过也有其他学校偏好年轻学生，如HBS Stanford等。至少Tuck是必须要有一定工作经验的。

不清楚，等符合条件的T13自报家门了。不过我觉得关键不在工作种类，而在于工作质量。T13里面做会计工作的人不少，前十的会计工作背景肯定不是你的短板，关键怎么体现你的leadership和potential growth。这个就只能看essay了。希望这样能回答到你的问题。

是不是match要看个人的leadership风格和学校的culture了，很虚的东西，不好说。不过Tuck是general management的学校，我们没有SCM或者operation之类的专业方向之分。如果在essay里面写SCM、operation方向的话，反而会让AdCom感觉功课没做足。你的硬件不是问题，建议先读一遍前人留下的帖子，看看Tuck的网站，再自己决定是不是fit吧。
