请问，关于entrepreneurship的资源会有不少吗？写essay中，求助一下。。。谢谢！

education club and its coo-chairs are the right person to reach out to in terms of actual opportunities.  also consulting resources are abundant at Tuck.  we recently changed the All-win Initiative to the Center for Business and Society.  The difference between initiatives and centers is that centers are much larger in scale, so you can see Tuck is dedicated to social enterprise through its efforts.


in terms of course, I took a course from Prof. Vogel called Entrepreneurship in the Social Sector.  basically, the course prepares you with basic tools to think strategically on social enterprises, and gives you opportunity to work on a consulting project with one of the local non-profits based on your interest, so I worked with a local community college for my project.  hope it helps.

我的long term goal想做一些类似social enterprise的东西，主要是提供为各种教育机构提供咨询服务。我想请教一下各位校友，TUCK有没有类似的课程，club或者项目呢？不管是social enterprise, non-profit, 或者education相关的。

i think admission people and school website should be your best resource for such information.  informal info on Chinese students getting scholarship is that, females tend to get scholarships, very few (no one i know) male Chinese students got scholarships in T'13.  but other tuckies please correct me if i'm wrong.

check out the ENTREPRENEURSHIP INITIATIVE on tuck's website. and always feel free to reach out to those closely involved in the program.  they have much more insights than we do.

我们的FYP （first year project）很多也是为non-profit做consulting project的。这个属于比较小众的方向，有教授是教这方面的课的，印象中有相关的marketing和strategy的课，在网站上可以看到。

感觉Tuck这几年创业方面的资源比过去多了，一方面是课程，可以在网站上看；记得2011年有过一个创业大赛之类的，就是评比各自的business plan，另外Fairbrothers教授的课也是focus在这方面，introduction to entrepreneurship和Advanced entrepreneurship，其中Intro是要自己提交business plan，在整个学期中完善，advanced是高级版。最后毕业时有同学的确按照这个思路去创业了。另外private equity finance也是针对entrepreneur的，介绍VC/PE在投资时如何选择项目，以及entrepreneur需要的finance 知识，还有很多讲innovation strategy的，也对创业很有帮助。

补充一点：Professor John H. Vogel Jr 是focus这方面的，而且tuck基本每学期都有开相关课程，建议去tuck网站找找教和课程信息。

Again, I'm not admission people, so i don't know the odds, but if you really like Tuck, you should always try to apply, that's the least I can say.

Tuck is very GM focused, and by all means, that's the only focus we have.  diversity is a big thing at Tuck, and I'm sure it's the same thing at many other MBA schools.  being able to portrait yourself according to the unique culture of the program, that would be the definitive factor of your application.

Easier said than done, I know, but if you're a part of the CD mentor program, I'd be happy to help you further refine your application package.  My account name in the CD mentor program is also alizwell.  If you're not, then you're out of luck!  Just kidding, please also feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about the Tuck program, and I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.  you should have my email address via private message.

麻烦问三个问题 ;)
1. 如果我在Essay里写Strategy&General Management这个方向的话，除了要写出Personal的Goal(为什么选这个方向），需要写以后希望从事的Industry吗，因为现在在传统制造业，以后只是想换个行业....


2.  另外，现在感觉Essay里遇到一点困难，因为GM这个方向本身就是比较广的概念，扩大视野，感觉真的不好Distinguish自己啊...


3. GM方向的话，以您的经验来看，GM的毕业生除了Leadership Program还有没有其他的什么就业形式？


问题有点儿多... 麻烦了！
