而这里的where修饰societies，societies又不表示真正的地点，为啥可以用where修饰？

GMAT题目里没有绝对正确的选项，是要求你从上述选项中“相对好”的选项。
你比较一下5个选项。
SHOWN的表达方式中ABC比DE更加简洁。。many population studies ....and shown, 这种表达肯定是对的。
但是B的后半段表述有问题。没主语，没说明盐被谁消费了
C的后半段用了被动语态，表示“盐被消费得越少，人们的血压就不会随年龄增长而增加”

where 既然能修饰country为什么不能修饰community 呢？ 如果国家无限小，接近个community的话，这就MAKE SENSE 了。

where 修饰过 tribes~

community 也是一个place 啊亲~

第二个例子 这个where 有点问题。。不过第二题很好判断~错误很明显。

3L 的答案很好，不过我觉得还是their 这个pronoun用错了。and they showed 这个时态上有冲突~所以答案很清晰咯
