请教og19，比较极助动词省略的问题？

og说E选项中要么少了that in，要么在wheat后加上does。这两者比较的重心不一样。前面是比较protein，后者比较rice和wheat

那么，请问比较rice和wheat的时候，wheat后面一定要加does吗？这个助动词可以省略吗？

省掉that为什么会有歧义？举个例子，(OG-149)Last year, land values in most parts of the pinelands rose almost as fast as, and in some parts even faster than, those outside the pinelands. those后面的助动词did就省掉了。

4楼举的例子是比较land values rose faster than, those outside the pinelands，这个句子中没有宾语，所以did助动词省略，不会歧义。

但是rice has a protein higher in quality than wheat does，是比较‘米含有的。。。’比‘麦子含有的。。。’，是有宾语的，如果wheat后面不加does，会误认为‘米中的protein’比‘麦子’质量高。

A.主系表的结构 主语比较动词要补出，应该要加上 is  ,所以错误
B是比较介宾结构 of higher quality,假如把修饰protein的of higher quality去掉，木有比较对象了，虽然答案说是正确选项，但还是想不通！！！
C也错误了，因为 it指代是前面一模一样的食物，就是rice protein is higher in quality than rice protein is in wheat,我开始错选c了
D。也是同理哇
E。比较对象错误了
现在对于B还是疑问，补全了是个什么样子捏，望nn指导！！
