您好我也申请了这个专业，但不太了解，看网站的说明是说隔周的周末才会上课，那这就意味着其实真正上课的时间不多，而且不太清楚这个专业毕业之后的去向如何，请楼主解答一下~~~谢谢~~~

lavigneariel, 我有些信息share给你。我发信问了这个项目的就业情况，以下是招生人员给我的回复：
Our inaugural class was fairly small – 22 graduated.  Below are the job offer results.  There are a couple of things to keep in mind.  It is difficult for International students as not all US companies sponsor international students for work in the US.  Of our 7 International students, 2 returned to their home countries.  One returned to his former company and the other found a position through job search here but the job was in Beijing with PWC.  One other international (Chinese) student is working for a marketing firm in the US, but not in Health Informatics.  The marketing firm was willing to sponsor the student and the student thought that was more important than working in health informatics.

Otherwise, our students went to work with hospitals, consulting firms, and electronic health record vendors for the most part.  We will provide a series of career skills seminars and a number of meet and greet events to give you the opportunity to network.  While we work hard to bring potential hiring organizations in to meet the class, we don’t “place” or guarantee a job.  We arm you with the skills you need to conduct an effective job search and we try to introduce you to third parties who are potential employers, but no guarantees on a job offer.

太感谢啦~~我已经拿到这个项目的offer啦，但还在犹豫要不要去，明明宣传的是致力于电子病历（EMR）的研究，但现在看课程设置也都没提到这个呀。不知道周中的那些job 或者intern都是什么性质的（义务的么。。呃呃），主要在犹豫这个项目毕业之后能不能进咨询公司以及留在美国~哎主要是这个项目太新了，太泛泛的感觉~

1. 因为国际学生不能在校外工作，所以Intern的话只能是义务形式。2. 来这个项目读书的国际学生基本都是为了留下来。至于质询的话a).需要母语一样的英语；b).需要深入的见解，尤其是在关键决定的时候；c). Hardworking all the time
3. 工作机会会更多得涉及医疗方面的公司，如Epic, Allscript, 或Quintiles

1. 真正周中准备上课的时间会很多，但要看的资料也很多，这个项目就是把原来12周的课程压缩到6个周末上。2. 其他时间还要分配给各种公司见面会和求职准备
