if so, then become ''... encourages visitors to "touch" esch exhibit,  and to activate the animated functions of the piece...''  ...................it is not reasonable to say '' ...encourage to activate the animated functions.......''

我想這裡就是ETS很陰險的地方，如果不看句意，很容易那activate和encourages並列，但仔細看句意

就可發現activate要和touch一起並列才說的通
