呼唤what 的综合解析，等待aueol等nn

做了新旧prep，这个两个对立的解释彻底把我弄晕了，呼唤NN，

先看新笔记的解释
1.
(1)What在从句中做主语，主句谓语由what从句的谓语决定。

1) What is difficult to understand is A.；What are difficult to understand are A and B.

(2)what在从句中做宾语，主句谓语由主句表语/宾语决定what they want are XX,XX&XX。

2) What his father left him are a few English books.

这个很清楚，但是马上看这个题目

prep2-6 我就只给出正确答案了，


!!!!!!6.What scientists know about dinosaur brains comes from studies of the cranium, the bony house of the brain located in the back of the skull.

首先很清楚What scientists know about dinosaur brains这个中的what肯定是做know的宾语在about dinosaur之前的位置，那这样，按照新笔记的思路
主句谓语由主句表语/宾语决定；
可是，没人会认为studies of xx这个是单数吧！studies是复数！！
所以我的问题明显了，这个comes应该是come才对。。。求教！

aeulo 我今天跟别的人聊关于这个what scientists know about .... 大家的意思是come 这个地方，认为是这个系动词是关键了，所以实意动词很关键。

然后，我再给一道来自
GWD- TN15的题目：
Researchers in Germany have unearthed 400,000-year-old wooden spears from what it appears was an ancient lakeshore hunting ground as stunning evidence of humanancestors who systematically hunted big game much earlier than believed.

momo...以前也有见过有人总结说，用单数是一定对的，但是用复数是否错，还是需要进一步验证。
笔记里应该加上“用单数一定是对的”，多谢crack25。
再加个例句：
24. The period when the great painted caves at Lascaux and Altamira were occupied by Upper Paleolithic people has been established by carbon-14 dating, but what is much more difficult to determine is the reason for their decoration, the use to which primitive people put the caves, and the meaning of the magnificently depicted animals.

哎呀，太激动了，斑竹aeoluseros 就是你啦，我想问的就是这个，那个那关于what的判断怎样处理呢？这里是不是就不能使用笔记上总结的what判断方法了？期待斑竹出现

我再详细问问，
“momo...以前也有见过有人总结说，用单数是一定对的，但是用复数是否错，还是需要进一步验证。

那就拿这个句子（斑竹给的/我给的）都说明一点--------〉(2)what在从句中做宾语，主句谓语由主句表语/宾语决定what they want are XX,XX&XX。

这句话是错的！！  那按照正常思路，aueol斑竹/NN怎-看这个问题关于what后面的单复数呢！！

umm...我不想马上排除笔记上的说法，actually，笔记上的那个说法是前辈流传下来的，也是general grammar里面的说法。因为还暂时不能确定像这个句子如果comes改为come到底还对不对：What scientists know about dinosaur brains comes from studies of the cranium, the bony house of the brain located in the back of the skull.
comes是一定对的，但是come如果错误的话，那么就和general grammar是有冲突了。
要验证这一点，需要遇到现有OG题目中官方对某个错误选项的解释，要是这样的题目没有出现，我们就不能推翻“what在从句中做宾语，主句谓语由主句表语/宾语决定what they want are XX,XX&XX。”这句话。

对的，不过这个题好像和“含what从句的主句谓语动词决定方法”没有关系诶。
不过A的结构其实是有的，只是逻辑含义错了，比如这个句子：
