但是OG在62题中又这样解释一个分词作名词得用法,前面并没有加the tilting, one of the deformations of the Earth’s crust, is used here as a noun that is parallel to fluctuations, whereas changing and varying are used as verbs indicating some action undertaken 所以我就对一个动词变为名词有了疑惑,到底the起什么作用 如果A项是splitting apart of continents对吗?
Good question!
OG99的确有“the definite article the clearly signify that splitting is to be taken as a noun”一说。
如你举的og62,tilting and other deformations,已经隐含tilting是名词呢(tilting is one type of deformation)?
The economic forces...include sudden downturns in the market, hedging and other investor strategies for preventing losses, a loosening..., and a fear...
2. og99,splitting是一定要用定冠词了,因为the onset of ice age先用了的。
