下面那道是PREP07上的，说不可数应该用less,可数应该用fewer,但是大全的164题里的E用的是less 来修饰pollutants，这里的pollutants应该是复数吧？那应该怎么说呢？

对于单数不可数，但复数可数的名词，fewer和less都可以用，但是意思不同。fewer指种类少，每种的数量不一定，less指每种的数量少，种类不一定。
类似的名词还有fish，waste（暂时只想起来这两个）

具体来说pollutant指污染物，不可数。pollutants指污染物种类，可数。
也就是说从1kgCO2到0.5kgCO2叫做less，从 CO+CO2到CO2叫fewer

同问!!!! 另外 我还有一个问题 是 as well as 是严格讲究对称的，那么应该是burn  as well  as emit ，为什么是 emitting呢？ 是不是因为 as well  as 前面 的 逗号 的原因呢？ 求教~~~

as well as是介词，后面要跟宾语，动词不能做宾语，必须要emitting

as well as 可连 Ving  放句首 相当于in addition to  
那在这里应该就是因为逗号了吧~
