选A, B哪错了？我看笔记说 that式累赘，但that不是指代前面的number吗？这样比较不更好吗，怎么会累赘呢？

doubling的意思是使。。。翻倍
所以，1990年快速增长的人数使得前一年的增长翻翻，这不合逻辑

doubling 用错是因为 doubling 不知道是修饰什么，有可能被理解为修饰 in 1990. B 选项比较错误啊，比较的不是number 本身，而是今年的number的增长与去年的number的增长。

THE NUMBER OF THE INCREASE... 从来没有见过哦,如果修饰ROSE很不顺

或者你想成结果状语,前面那半句是一个INCREASE也可以啊,前面的INCREASE是后面INCREASE的两倍
