oh, could somebody tell me for the first question,

why choose the answer B? which one is "which" supposed to refer? how could it refer to some item not adjacent with it?

分词结构不仅可以表示伴随，还可以表示原因，结果，条件，让步等情况，这里完全可以用分词表示先于become发生的情况。
