A并不正确，compared with most sport utility vehicles 是插入语正确，比较的是Minivans和most sport utility vehicles；A变成了比较Minivans 载客人的数量和most sport utility vehicles比较，后面又说cost less....,存在着严重的逻辑问题。

先看个例句吧：

The average working week in Japan is 42.3 hours, compared with 41.6 in the UK,so they are not too badly off.

A将carry变成谓语，变成了宾语载客人的数量与其他交通工具的比较，逻辑不通。

这里的carry部分只能用作定语修饰主语Minivans ，然后插入语compared with most sport utility vehicles，说明是Minivans和most sport utility vehicles比较。纵观5个选项，只用D符合要求没有其它语法错误。

再痛苦的看了一遍，觉得这个很有道理...

首先我第一反应选A，到现在也还是选A，但是看到100楼说得实在很有道理，就是，and放的位置如果在逗号后面就更好了。

如果D是正确地，那么我想请问两个分词成分共同修饰一个主语时之间不用连词了解地吗？

我覺得Answer: A
雖然事後看答案後發現有個and
但當初考的時候覺得很漂亮,完全沒問題
我對At的感覺就是,要去抓句子每個部分想要呈現的意義
我認為carry as many as seven passengers和後面的3個動詞所要傳達意思是兩個區塊
前者在講說M車可以載多少人,後者則提到與其他車相比,多了哪幾項好處
中間的修飾語放的很漂亮,一方面避免ed直接修飾前名詞
ved不像 n,ving,同位修飾的意義很強,所以幾乎都修飾逗點前一詞
一方面讓我在看後面的動詞前,就有一個期待感,這些動詞是和most sports utility相比的,    而能載七個人,是一個前半部的說明重點,這題出現的同時,已經有能載7個人的SUV,但卻是少數,所以不應該只是用carrying這個修飾語帶過去,而是要作為讓讀者注意到這一部份好的特點,as many as 強調的是可以到7個人這樣多,卻不是compared to most (因為只有少數能載七人,能辦到還不賴!)sport vehicle,as many as. 所以才構成在and後用逗號分開: and, compared....的理由,讓讀者明顯知道是爲了往後修飾的(不然感覺是大部分都能載7人,M車只是達到這標準)..後半部的地方是除了承載量達到了目前的前端水準,還有以下的好處,所以本來就應該用and,而非but,這樣的寫法能讓我清楚感受到各部分存在的意義

所以D的ambiguity很嚴重,有版友解釋說compared to可當副詞修飾語往後那個可當修飾動詞,在我看來正因它可當形容詞修飾語往前又可當副詞修飾語往後才在語意上不清很嚴重,等同OG245所說的"squinting modifier"
即使讓我再選一次我還是選A,因為我對這整句的期盼和情感上,恰恰好就是不希望這幾個動詞平衡

我觉得选a吧！

反对a的中心思想是v1andv2,v3,v4...是不对的！但是
