请教一下这两道题关于 one 作代词的用法

(C)    a condition when it is present and indicate that it is present   都指代前面的condition, 而且 indicate that it is present 和后面的when it is not 形成句意上的清晰对比。

(D)    when a condition is present and indicate its presence  后面不花线的it no referent

(E)    the presence of a condition when it is there and indicate its presence

上面两道题都是把one的选项排出了。但我就是不知道为什么排出。one 的功能是什么，它一般怎么用法？

one/ones是替代, 一般在比较中会用到，同样的但不是同一个，当用the one/ones时还可以用that/those。the one/ones只能替代可数，that可以替代不可数。

指代就是指同一个。it，they都是指同一个。

所以替代和指代是不同的2个概念。

当然你用people也不错，但是你忘了代词就是代名词。不用代词，用名词当然可以，但是名词重复啊。

但是你忘了代词就是代名词。不用代词，用名词当然可以，但是名词重复啊。：：：

那ones 代了名词不就不重复了么，那为什么不选e 。 我越来越傻了。

许多在语法书上认可的概念，好像ETS不喜欢。如which不能指代句子，我发现ETS基本上不用the ones，在可以用the ones的场合，都用those或省略。当可以the one/ones of时都用that/those of，当在比较从句里没有这个of后置修饰语时，than本身就可以当作代词用。

movies—fewer than have been中的than就是有代词属性。所以the ones多余。

请查阅语法书中关于比较和替代的章节，会帮助你理解。

我怎么觉得one/ones好像是比较泛指的替代，比如：One may die if he takes too much drugs. ；而that/those是具体有所指的替代，比如“被蜜蜂蜇死的那些人”就是具体的，要用those.

而且我觉得B答案不对，than是连接词，怎么能用来作代词指代人呢？况且，have been killed by bee stings是一个定语从句，前面必须要有先行词，than 能作为先行词吗？
