我觉得比较结构是需要保持比较点结构平行的，所以我们在很多情况下要必须补充than后面的主语、谓语或者其他相应的成分。

又想了下，

在平时的题目中很多都是than前面结构完整，后面不完整；本题是倒过来的。make sb +adj也应该算是系表结构吧，所以本题后面的it was是不能省略的。
