要把,joined.....,injured(Ved)....,and was discharged....

如果要對 就改成,joined..,injured(Ved)...,and discharged(Ved)...

否則injured(Ved)可以修飾的太多了..

C 选项明显不对啊~~~前后两个it指代的对象不一样~~~~~

前面的指代oxygen~~后面的指代cigarette~~~~

开始我也想为什么后面不能也指代oxygen呢?~~后来拍拍脑袋~~~终于想出来了~~~居然要用到初中的化学知识~~~~

氧气不能燃烧~~~只能助燃~~~~晕死~~~~~oxygen burns就不符合常识了?~~~~

倒~~~~偶发现偶复习GMAT都复习的不正常了~~~为了找方法说服自己~~什么方法都用上了~~~

首先, A中用了被动, 不能明确cigarette就是就是use的施动者, 这个是ETS的忌讳之一.

其次, thereby是副词, 引导一个新的分词结构, 后面的it可以和前面的it指代不同.

最后, that的限制性指代优于in which.

c: thereby slowing,则SLOW与USES并列,不能说CIGARETTE SLOWS THE RATE...逻辑不通.

我开始选D,忽略了AND THEREBY
