申请两年了今年到底是上还是不上，万分纠结！求建议！

跟楼主的情况有点像，也在纠结，今年不去读的话年底升VP可以到$250k, 也是想转个function,现在这个上升的空间还是很有限。到底应不应该为了升职加薪defer一年呢？？？

如果你想彻底转行，那这个MBA也许还值得读。否则的话，这个辞职的代价太大了，其实你留在现在这个职位上发展也不错啊，我觉得MBA可有可无，或者你可以试试PARTTIME MBA

我没有啊，可是kongkong我要了你会被很多情敌抽死的阿!
其实这些钱现在看起来还行，可是没有上升空间的话影响以后挣大钱的机会阿！

不是，版主，关键你拿的什么offer？ 如果offer不够strong的话，我觉得真的机会成本对你来说太大了，如果想career switch 的话，MBA brand一定要在业界有足够的分量，不然没有相关行业的背景，很难通过一个tie 2的MBA 完成switch

depends on what he wants to switch to

I think CMU or even gatech should suffice to help him switch to product marketing or biz development in tech industry

Hey there.  Well…this is a GOOD problem to have my friend, not a bad one.  Generally, I would say that yes you should go to school!  But then again, I am a bit biased.  Of course I believe in the power of great MBA programs, given what I do for a living!  J  but let me ask you a couple specific questions—what school have you been admitted into?  If it is a good program, then I would say that you should go to school.  It will change the trajectory of your entire life—and your wife and kids, by the way, would probably love the two years they would spend in a beautiful environment.  If the school isn’t so good, it may NOT be worth your time, given the fact that you are in at $100K.  That is good money.  Not great, but good.  What school are you considering?  And what specialty?

个人觉得如果是想要转换工作职能，而且跨度大，还是读MBA，如果是工程师想做管理，可以读PT，或者过个一两年再看看情况，毕竟GM其实不太care年龄。
