有关predict的用法？

predict 后带从句的时候，是不是也要省略would/should/could等等？谢谢！

一般省略虚拟语气助动词should的动词都是表示“命令，要求”等的动词，其本身就有should的含义，所以要省略。用ETS的话将就是“不必要，多余”。但是predict的意思是“预言，预示”当然不能省略了。

(in the present tense) A predicts that B will do C.
(in the past tense) A predicted that B would do C.

I can't seem to think of cases that should/could may make sense and couldn't find any example in 大全. 大侠们帮忙看看?

非常感谢你的总结，给我理了理概念。

我印象中predict后加从句也是不能省略的，但是发帖的那天看到了一道题，“正确答案”的选项就是进行了省略。，迷惑万分，所以才求助的。看来真的是答案错了。

这两天忙的不可开交，昨天是周末，晚上还加班到了十点，想想时间浪费不起，今天一大早就起来了。我下周五考试，今天准备用一整天的时间搞搞作文。明天做一套模考，下周一～周三，看看做过的题和总结，周四请了一天假，调整一下，周五就要考试了。。。呵呵，心跳跳的~~~

因为好多贴中都写着predict后面跟虚拟，所以我就理所当然用了would。结果，今天做OG12发现predict后面能用will.
