GMAT中which不能用来指代前面的整个句子，只能用ving

我还是觉得D的逻辑意思不对，但是B形式又不简洁

是不是还是该逻辑为大，选B呢？

拎出这部分主干

B. exhibit, in turn an activation of

D. exhibit and thereby activate

如果是D，那么主语是谁呢，是Museum的话，activates应该是单数。如果是visitors的话，就变成Museum encourages visitors to “touch” each exhibit and thereby activate。这样逻辑上明显不对，博物馆可以鼓励游客去触摸，可怎么能“因尔”鼓励游客去active呢，这样逻辑不通阿。

相反，B里面的an activation of是指代前面visitors触摸展品的这件事，同位语结构，表示是visitors的这个行为active了functions.
