like和just as最主要的区别用简单的文字很难一下子说明白，直接上例子：
Like the shark, this kind of newly discoevered fish has long fins.
用like表达的意思是：shark和这种新发现的fish都has long fins，也就是说，这个动作的的确确是一模一样地发生在这俩个体身上的；
Just as students need to study hard in schools, employees should try to make as high profits as possible for their companies.
just as表示的是一种方式、情况上的类比

再看一下这一句，如果你用的是like，就变成polio vaccine和mass dietarychange都is needed to protect the significant number who are susceptible to thelife-threatening effects of press eating habits；但其实前者并没有真正这么做，语义上就不对了

As 与Like 最关键的一点区别是，Like 后面一定不能接从句，而as可以。所以楼主看看，一下这俩，哪个是错的？

LIKE her brother DID, Ava aced the test
AS her brother DID, Ava aced the test.
