stoneren和tianwan的解释没有问题，我来补充说明一下好了
楼上给出的这个例句的意思是：他不需要总是不断的搬家，就像他父亲（省略总是不断的搬家）那样。（即他不像他的父亲，总是需要不断的搬家）。所以his father后的是had，而he后的是did not，不存在逻辑问题
而本题的意思是：PH和很多自学成才的艺术家一样，在进入中年之前没有开始她的绘画事业。如果artist用的动词中没有否定词（如果不存在其他语法问题），就变成了PH不像很多自学成才的艺术家那样，在进入中年之前就开始了绘画事业。当然出现了逻辑问题，改变了句子的原意。

但这似乎只解释了OG中关于逻辑上的错误，没有解释语法上的呀语法上从朗曼的例子看，前后是动词肯否定是可以不一致的阿

这里得ungrammatical是不是指不平行，是指结构上，即as did sb,sb did not do sth.应该是

as sb did,sb did not do sth.这样才平行

就不知道as did sb倒装有没有问题?

我想谈一下我的看法，尽管这个帖子已经是很早以前的了，但它在对91题的讨论中集中了最有代表性的观点…………

我比较认同：as sb did 才是grammatically right，而不是as did sb

我没有见过这样子的倒装。倒装分全倒装和部分倒装，所谓全部倒装是指整个谓语部分放在主语前面；而部分倒装是指谓语的一部分(情态动词或助动词)放在主语之前。很显然，as did sb和倒装毫无关系。（只是个花招）

至于logically wrong 就更没问题了，之前也有人说了

答案是A。我选是选对了，但是当时E把我迷糊了一下。og说是Perle Hessing和many self-taught artists比较。我有时候糊涂，为什么不是Perle Hessing did not begin to paint until she was well into middle age整个动作和many self-taught artists做的比较呢？如果是动作比较的话，那E就是可以的了。

具体你可以参考有关题目，说的是小孩子的视力不象大人那样转多少次，如果大人那样，就失明了。当时选的是AS ADULTS DO，记不的是那倒题了，

The sentences would actually imply that her brother went to store, but she did not.
