我觉得这题不能用not only but also 啊，因为not only but also 表示平行的意思。但是题目有转折的意思 前面是有利影响 后面是不利影响。所以用连词but表示转折.
also 跟在后面应该是可以说的通的吧~表示“也”

所以排除A B E
C项不仅句子结构不完整 而且前后也不对称

所以选D created gave caused完美对称（这三个动作是并列的） 意思也符合逻辑

不知道这样理解对不对哦
