BC's world ranking

Some schools are ranked very high in the US like BC and Wake Forest.
But when it comes to world rankings, BC and WFU are lower than some schools ranked lower then them in the US.
For example,
US ranking: BC, WFU > UTAustin, UIUC, OSU, UPitt, UW....
World ranking: UTAustin, UIUC, OSU, UPitt, UW> BC, WFU

Why?

because US news and QS used different methodologies in ranking the schools
US News does the national ranking based on its own criteria but basically copies the world ranking from QS, and we all know QS is just bullshit
SJTU world ranking > QS world ranking any day of the week imo
