楼住的托福只有99，上了mit and UCB

到底哪里牛

Intern? goldman?
Bachelor? Tsinghua GPA4.0?
Recommednation? nobel winner?

因為已經從學校畢業啦~如果要回學校修課拿學分有成績單，今天問了母校好像沒有這種....

學校說除非我還是在校生...不然基本上沒有學分班這種東西...

我會再問學校有沒有什麼summer courses or online courses....謝謝大家幫忙~

面試的時候問的問題技術面問題都回答OK!...可能是面試吧?...還有已經念過一個研究所..?

glad i have decided not to apply to Berkeley... I probably would have been required to meet all three conditions too :S LOL too much trouble... and yes like OP said, too much uncertainty :S

MIT is good, given you already have a masters in financial engineering!

now its time to get a big brand name, i.e MIT

只有一個面試~非常技術面~問了我Numerical Analysis(蒙地卡羅模擬), Stat, Finance(Duration and Convexity), Change measure, risk neutral theorm, 無套利理論..校友面試..印度口音很難聽的懂~所以總共面試了一個小時.......不過所有問題只有一個東西我沒有聽過(完全沒有學過) 其他回答完面試官都說Good~他說很意外我懂這麼多....不過我有說因為我已經念了國內Financial Engineering master program...

然後只有十分鐘問一下personal goal(這裡他問很仔細..我說我想去IB..然後他就接著問我想做哪一塊..我回答Fixed Income 之類的 ..然後他會接續下去一直問.....問的仔細不要有模糊抽象的答案~)

我的ad上也有pde的要求，真是太奇怪了，我明明已经上过pde了，而且客的名字就叫pde.

haha not yet... just turned down UofT and Umich ad's. going to find out about the last 2 schools hopefully next week and make a final decision!
