Berkeley or NYU??

我也是纠结之后放弃了stanford.

可是ucb每年都会有一半的人去nyc工作（三十人左右），一半的人留在bay area。只是需要坐5个小时的飞机这比较麻烦。

有人了解berkeley毕业生具体做什么吗，他们网站上都没有列出具体职位。

i've never seen any real UCB MFE graduate posting here and sharing his/her experience with the program... i believe it is an awesome program but considering that you are probably only 22 (?), you might have a hard time fitting in with other students there as they can be as old as 40 and their avg admitted student age is 27-28...

I wanted to go to berkeley too but after seeing what happened to chile, new zealand, china, japan, etc... i dun think its worth taking the risk LOL i'd rather stay on the east coast... just to be safe LOLLL i love $$ but i wanna be alive haha

会不会找工作的时候有劣势啊？ 毕竟身边的同学都有工作经验的。。。

拿到了Berkeley MFE 和 NYU Mathematical Finance，我应该去哪个阿？？？！！！
nyu在数学院里面更适合我，课程很好，也比较学术，班级小30个人，跟老师交流更方便。很多fresh graduate，大家背景都差不多。而且在华尔街旁边。
berkeley名气大，如果工作以后还想读phd的话有berkeley的文凭更方便。西部生活十分舒适。可每年有65个人，人太多了，program好像比较商业化，很多有工作经历的甚至以前学会计的都去。我这人比较喜欢和比较学术的数学好的纯洁的孩子呆在一起。
那我到底应该选哪个？？？？？

加州海岸城市和加拿大BC省的沿海城市都是环太平洋火山地震带的正上方，LZ要是想在那里久居的话，要做好应对地震和海啸的心理准备。毕竟国内地震不是每天发生的。而且现在那个地方已经是高危地带了。

When did LZ interview and get AD? How many interviews did LZ go through and is there any behavior interviews?

My interview was on Feb14th and I got the AD on Mar23rd. There was only one interview.
Actually they misplaced my profile.....That's why it took such a long time.
