Parallelism is a large-scale, context-dependent thing, so it’s imperative that you detect any necessity for it when you are reading the problem. Not that you should not rely on “signal words” (and, or, not only… but also, etc). in order to detect parallelism, rather, you should be able to detect the necessity of parallel structure solely from context, with the signal words as a nice way to confirm that necessity.
记住:并不是看到and, but等信号词然后去找平行,凑平行。而应该是句意为先,先读懂句子,判断题目中的那种情况需不需要平行,再做判断。-- by 会员 070674108 (2011/3/23 12:00:55)
