1 year ago in my list, i have no W/E MIT,UCLA,WUSTL,VANDY,UR,UIUC,UMD, Tulane, Brandies..................... IT's a good program For getting a job in US...even in WUSTL, i guess 50% have to go back... You know what's happening in US job market.... Each years,1000+ chinese Ivy or TOP 20 are heading for Wall St and other finance related job..Wall St only acccept more than 100 of them nowadys... So if you only want to get a job in US by studying MSF, you are so so stupid if you are not very very very strong in finance -- by 会员 AnttiZhang (2011/3/18 12:20:53)
大神发话了,MIT,UCLA,WUSTL,VANDY,UIUC,的确好于tulane,但是照今年ur和umd扩招太多,tulane没有扩招 -- by 会员 1825506861 (2011/3/18 12:28:33)
I don't know..i have not done some research for them this year....UMD may be problematic, becasue it's Full time for the second year... UR is fine..it's corp finance and research is very strong, at least in those areas, better than UIUC..But I was quite shocked when I met one of URer in my interview..it's a 保底 interview... So many people are heading for schools which are not are good as Tulane in finance becasue they want a job... Well, i would say, what's the different between 6% and 4%? -- by 会员 AnttiZhang (2011/3/18 12:32:20)
Totally agree. So many students want to find internships and jobs, but actually they have no idea about US job market. In addition, they focus much more on location. I want to say location is one factor for you to find job but only for these schools on the same level. Many MSF programs totally couldn't compete Tulane's MFIN but are quite hot in CD. I don't know the reasons and expect our Chinese to pay more attention on the quality and reputation of your MSF program. |
