Very very disappointed since they put me on the waiting list last year and I had a campus visit before and nice talk with professors, but it becomes my first official rejection...Maybe the competition is particularly stong for this year...

a response from the coordinator. My guess is proved...so sad...
"This was the most competitive year that we have had in the Ph.D. admissions since I started here 12 years ago. The pool was so deep that even three of our own Master's degree students that are excellent did not receive an offer for this fall either. Sorry that this didn't work out for you this year. "
pat pat .... UIUC makes a very very unique case this year though... i heard that there were 16 people in their final pool...
btw, their world-known I/O Psy program is recruiting 10 people for Fall 2011, which is soooooooooo amazing....

They admit 5 finally~~~I just know the chairperson is changed... Do you know any news about MSU, Kevin? I am also on the waitlist of FSU and unofficial rejection from South Carolina~~~
