  我是圣母大学北京校友会主席，中国区Alumni School Chairperson，MBA Class of 2009，清华大学BME 1998。回想2006 07年的时候天天在追梦这里呆着，呵呵，恍如隔世啊。


  University of Notre Dame将在本周五于清华大学近春园召开ND celebration，除了在京校友、校方代表Designated Speaker Pat Perrella参加之外，也希望邀请所有已经获得ND 2011 fall通知书的Prospective students，或者 对于Notre Dame 感兴趣的朋友一起参加。Pat Perrella是Director of Career Development of Mendoza B-school，非常有能量的人，能够与他交流会帮助你更好的了解这个学校。

   BTW：3.3日，UND的Mendoza商学院连续第二年获得Undergraduate Program NO.1。

    We are glad to announce the coming event of Notre Dame Celebration. As introduced bolow, ND celebration is an important tradition for coummnities worldwide, through which we will be keep updated of our college. Moreover, it's a great opportunity to learn about "Fighting Irish" for those who would like to join Notre Dame family.


    And we are honored to invite my old friend, Mr. Patrick Perrella to attend the celebration as designated speaker, while he will be leading MBA tour in China.


    Our celebration consists of Chinese dinner and a following get-together, and key info is:


    Time:  Mar 11th, 2011, Friday
    Dinner 6:30PM to 8:00PM
    Meeting:  8:00PM to 9:00PM(Expected)


    Location: Jinchunyuan, Tsinghua University (close to west gate), you can find it on map.baidu.com very easily

    Besides, Mendoza Business School took the top spot in the Bloomberg Businessweek's undergraduate ranking for the second consecutive year. Let's cheer for this great news!







About UND Celebrations:





In 1924, John H. Neeson, class of 1903 and then President of the Alumni Association, began Universal Notre Dame Celebrations as a universal meeting of all clubs on the same night. Neeson's first "Universal Notre Dame Night," in the form of a nationwide radio broadcast, highlighted the non-athletic achievements of the University's alumni and friends and, moreover, for the broader American public. The event served to nurture the University's reputation as a premier learning institution, and in fact promoted it.





Today, these events are referred to as Universal Notre Dame Celebrations, and are held to provide alumni with a "State of the University" from speakers representing all areas of the University. UND Celebrations are a key way for the University to thank alumni for their commitment to Notre Dame and provide an important mechanism to receive feedback from alumni across the world.  The presentation covers all aspects of the University and is a great way for people to catch up with what is going on at ND.  It is also a useful venue to invite other people to that you would like to have learn more about ND.






Mr. Patrick Perrella:



Patrick Perrella is the Director of Graduate Career Services for the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. In this role Patrick actively works to build relationships with firms and corporations that hire Notre Dame's MBA, EMBA and MNA students as well as alumni.


Prior to joining Notre Dame, Patrick was a Director in Citi Global Transaction Services. Patrick spent twelve years with Citi in a career that spanned North and South America, Europe and Asia and diverse functional areas such as product management, operations and risk management.


Patrick is active in civic and community organizations and currently Chairs the Board of Governors of the National Art Museum of Sport, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also represents Notre Dame on the Corporate Advisory Board of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs.  In the past he served on the Board of Directors of the Notre Dame Alumni Association. On the Notre Dame Board, Mr. Perrella participated on the International and Professional committees and was responsible for overseeing eleven Notre Dame Clubs in the New York Metropolitan region representing 13,500 alumni. Prior to that role, he was President of the Notre Dame Club of New York for three years, with the club being awarded the prestigious Outstanding Club of the Year Award in 2005. Patrick graduated from Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1990 and received his MBA from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University in 1996.
