为什么申请商学院的phd这么累！！！

纯粹是抱怨一下。。。。看着phy,chem轻轻松松那么多牛offer下来。。。。唯有b-school的offer冷冷清清而且难得见几个特牛的。。。并且这一年下来，感觉要拿到一个b-school phd的offer付出相比phy,chem要多太多了。。。无论是学术上，成绩上，还是其他各种活动，以及和学校联系~~~~~时时还在想曾经有个harvard phy的offer在我眼前，我却放弃了它，心中无法形容什么感觉。。。。

如果b-school都扩招10倍，情况就不一样了~

Definitely, think about supply--demand. We will have a much easier time finding good jobs after we graduate!

但是真的很讨厌那些不给消息或者默拒的学校。。。花啦钱和精力但什么FEEDBACK都没有，真不公平。。。

The thing is even we did not get into any PhD in Business. We can still work in Investment Banks and rip off those MIT, Havard, Yale phy chem PhDs. Let them spend five years in school while we raise up to VPs.

Good call! though unfortunately I don't have the luxury to choose between IB and PhD. For me, it will just be five more years of poverty and hopefully things will brighten up once I graduate and get a job..

LZ made the right decision if you want to do Finance. You declined Harvard phy, not Harvard MBA.

这个很简单。因为finance/accoutning phd毕业工作好找， 薪水高， 动不动就十好几万，二十几万。所以申请的人多。那些理工科的毕业要做N年post-doc before getting a faculty position and salary is half or even less than business phds， 所以就算轻松申请到harvard, mit, 又什么用呢？
