ls正解， 原意是more fuel-efficient, d中可理解为 more cars.
另外：their的指代存在问题。同一句话中，those，their应指代同一对象，但d中可以不同，those指代cars，their可指代 manufactures'. 如果those指代cars', GMAT中用of 表示无生命事物的所有格。
