虚拟语气根据语意的不同，也会有现在时的。


if the deal were not to be concluded,not one of the potential investors is expected to make an offer to buy First Interstate Bank until a merger agreement is signed that includes a provision for penalties.

其实句子应该这样看的。

一般虚拟语气，If ** were, ** would ....
但是有时根据句子意思，会出现If ** were, ** 现在时V./be 动词....
就像这句一样。not one of the potential investors is expected...

no one of + n. 后面跟的谓语是否单复数根据n.来判断（LZM语法上这么讲的。。。其实我也不知道对不对，姑且相信吧）

one of the + n. 因为是one, 所以用单数

可这个句子就是用的虚拟语气啊，the deal were，不是应该if X were to do sth,Y would(should,could)do sth 这个句型吗？

你问的问题我也不太清楚。我只知道no one of +n  和 none  of +n 是指全部否定， not one of +n.既可以之全部否定也可以指部分否定，且 none  of +n后的谓语动词跟单数。

If the deal were中的If可以理解为“in case (that)”，后接虚拟语气，由此可见虚拟条件句不一定非要虚拟主句才能使用（if the deal were这个用法其实也和if any类似，作为独立成分出现在句中）

如果说是用IF...THEN...虚拟语气的话，不是应该先IF 条件发生，然后THEN中的结果再发生吗？但是C中用BE SIGNED是虚拟语气的话，是不是结果先于条件发生了哦？
