“过去完成时不能单独出现”这个规则已经out了
在现在的G中，用不用过去完成时一些是从意思判断的

同意，现在越来越理解了
其实earlier in the year表示过去的一个时间点，fear这个动作从过去某时刻到earlier in the year一直在发生
