That makes more sense. It may however also be true that you learnt more in five years than you did in two, simply because the time is longer. But I indeed have no benefit of that perspective.
As for the story vs question, I agree. However, my experience with 90% of the Chinese applicants on CD is that they come to me first with, "this is my very unique story. I'm going to write the same thing for all the schools..." And that is an absolute recipe for disaster. I can't even begin to count how many 'failure' essays I've seen that are success stories in disguise- though you've probably seen this too, since you suggest going for the bellyflop.
My point though is that if anything, the myth is that everything begins and ends with your story.
And thanks for the good luck. Not sure for what, but good fortune is always appreciated

Yeah man, couldn’t agree more. Glad to be of assistance, and let me know if there is anything more we can do to help!
But so many words were lost in the PPT. Are you using special fonts in it?
If so, could you kindly convert it into a PDF file?
(I am using Powerpoint 2010)

That could be—why don’t you send me your email address or shoot me an email—I can send you a new format no problem. But I hate to keep opening up new threads on CD, we try to keep them to a minimum…J
Hey guys ,thanks for checking in, we received so many emails saying that some folks didnt have the right fonts on their computers to read the slides! And while it pains me to undo some of our super-cool formatting, this version of the PDF should be much easier to read. Thanks so much for the kind words, and feel free to email us if you have any questions about this presentation. Since we are accustomed to delivering this presentation in person, some things may be unclear. But we are here to answer any questions of course. And as always, good luck!
