marked 在这个地方 是“明显的，显著的”意思 considerable表达”相当多的，显著的“意思

surprising 的本意是”令人吃惊的“  

这个地方作者想要强调的就是”明显的“，没有令人吃惊的。。。    这种有点像GMAT上的语法考语气的那种题。。。

另外，在单词书上都是这种选择。。。   可能看多了就能做对的。。。
