既然LZ也是过来人 就应该知道这姑娘也不容易  中国人在外拼搏 特别是女孩子 压力之大可想而知 不管结果如何 都值得敬佩 49楼的朋友也太刻薄了 换位思考下 她能忍受别人这样的评论？当然 她注重细节 根本不会犯这些错 但是她会犯其它错 会被老美挑其它刺

论坛要各抒己见 但是评论这姑娘 何必这么过火 人家是做得不够好 坦白讲我一直以为这像假消息 这材料要是拿到我一行 立马得被丢出来 但是我们不是客户 我们只是旁观者 旁观者为何要对她这么苛刻 既然她有幸得到个机会 何不祝福下 站出来对她冷嘲热讽没啥意思

it's not that i don't want her to succeed, but that she has made herself  one of the biggest pieces of gossip fodder this year on wall st. just look at how many replies it got on dealbreaker and WSO and what people are saying there. and i think this has negative repercussions and consequences for EVERY Chinese looking for a banking job on wall st.


Look at this:
"I think Citi and BAML should be ashamed of themselves for giving her a call back.....especially for IBD, attention to detail anyone?"


isn't it now clear that she simply will not get an offer, at least not in NY? Yes, i admit i am harsh. but ibd as a career, is one of the most demanding career paths out there. you really need to be mentally tough enough to survive. if she can only take nice and positive feedbacks maybe she's better off doing something else.

咋投行圈里有那么多人自命不凡，然后就教训别人啊。
投行不是号称崇尚多元化么，管得着应聘的人怎么做么，没准人家故意的呢

嗯.. 我发帖不是为了别人喜欢我的,而是为了表达我的观点. 我没有要教训人的意思, 也绝对不敢自命不凡... 也许我说话是不留情面,但我相信比单纯鼓励赞赏更能让她进步. 好听的话谁不会说啊? 我也没必要为一个不相识的人和别人吵架.
不过还是忍不住说一句, 多元化也不是这么个多元化法. 好了这个帖子我从此封口了. 大家以和为贵..

Mate, do you have any idea how hard it is for most students to get a interview invitation for BB FO? Let alone the fact that she has only been in US for a little bit more than 1 year and her English is obviously not very good.

As a Chinese student, I think we should all support her morally and be inspired by her attitude when confronted with adversity.

If you want to break into IBD, the only person can stop you is yourself, and obviously she is not going to do that.

很难过楼里的一些同胞说了这么难听的话。出过国才知道出国的艰辛。外国人平常对你客客气气的其实内心鄙视得很，连有些阿三都鄙视中国人。你说呢？中国人何苦为难中国人。

这个帖子让人有淡淡的忧伤，不明白楼主的意图，看到老外在WSO粗俗地形容Asian Girls,会为自己的同胞感到难过，但也许大家可以从这个事情上学到些什么。和气些吧。到了美国受委屈的事儿多着呢！

她申请之前应该也不会料到自己的案例会被这样说来说去吧

不就是有点语法错误嘛
这又怎么了？只要看得懂，有语法错误怎么了？好歹人家也是进了INTERVIEW的，后面怎么样不知道，那帮老外这么骂她明显就是嫉妒呀
还有，为什么CD的回帖里边总是有全英文回复？大家果然申请美国已经申请到不会用中文的地步了嘛？没事装什么装啊？

一整本有时多达几百页pitch book里面一个语法/拼写错误都不允许出现的。
你应该没找过投行的工作吧？特别是北美。如果email里面出现一个拼写错误，基本就是整个申请前功尽弃。

如果是常规IB业务我不敢说。。就我以前在SALES AND TRADING的经验看，EMAIL里基本都不出现完整的句子。。。也就是说根本没有语法可言。。。

我觉得这个女生挺棒的。。。在国外工作过的人都知道。。其实英文只要你能一直蛋B下去，语音不要太差就没有问题。。。不仅中国人英文是ESL。。法国人，德国人都是。。。我以前的荷兰同事说的破英文也没人说他什么。。。我们凭什么就要英文跟ABC一样好了？？试问几个外国人的SECOND LANGUAGE的水平有中国人的英文高。。。

当然我确实听说CONSULTING对英文要求很高。。。不知道IB是不是也如此。。。

IBD的PITCH BOOK在被DOORMAN送出之前是的确连标点都要检查的~~S&T和IBD工作风格倒也大相径庭。。可是FB上看来她的确就是申的IBD，这样的话基本是致命伤了……何况申请先得让HR留下好印象，一点typo都是致命……
恰恰相反,投行讲究的可不是什么"只要看得懂，有语法错误怎么了？"

其实我觉得……是要靠自己的行动赢得尊敬的~~~~遍布的文法错误和盲目的自信如果真要赢得不了别人的尊重自己也得真该好好想想~~

这个女生条件确实很好，要达到这些条件她也付出了比平常人更多的努力。  仅一个presentation小小的不足，不足以否定她。 谁都有瑕疵，不是么？
她的确有语法和表达方法上的不足，我们应该肯定她，可以帮助纠正一些瑕疵，而不是无知地冷嘲热讽~~~
