请教给位牛人，怎么样解释work experience gap

有一段时间没上班，大概2个月。这个gap要怎么解释呢？我能说利用这段时间准备一系列考试和研究学校了吗？还是写生病或是休息比较好？

2个月不用解释，一般学校如果有要求，也是3个月以上的才解释

我的career gap 有2个，一个5个月，一个半年（当然，工作时间稍长）。都没解释。当时写essay时有些担心，问要不要写additional essay解释，后来朋友说：没自信的才解释。我想想也是（主要也因为懒），休了个半年没什么大不了的，理由正当。而且也拿了几个面试，没写additional essay应该是不影响的。

我后来在面试有问到过gap的问题，基本两句话就带过。面试官也没追问，表现的自信就好。反正我要是面试官也不会傻追这个问题。

to those gap >3个月的，不想误导，如果学校有明确要求3个月以上要写，可以写。

Hey there!  Happy to help with this, no problem at all.  : )   Ideally, you can say something OTHER Than just “taking time off to apply to bschool.”  Because after all, many applicants will be applying with good scores and good essays…who didn’t have to take two months off.  So what ELSE can you say you were doing?  An illness would be okay, but what if they ask for proof?  Instead, can you say that you started a company?  A consulting firm?  Devoted yourself to non profit work?  Lets find SOMETHING that we can get some credit for during these two months.  That would be ideal…  Hope this helps!

2个月，如果你工作过几年的话，根本就不算什么GAP，不建议去费什么心思的。更不要去编个花哨的理由干啥干啥了。
